Mi Familia! (May 28th)

Man this week has been crazy. I'm losing everything. I brought something I wasn't supposed to and I'm loving it! If you haven't received my package yet, It contains a letter to you guys... so far explaining what has happened, 2 thank you notes, and it also contains my phone. I KNOW! Stupido. Completely thought I left it at home, but apparently not. I turned it off and sent it home.

As I said, this week has been crazy. We started straight into our Spanish lessons the first day, and haven't looked back. I'm loving my teachers, Hermano Martinez and Hermano Gomez. I like Gomez better, I just understand his teaching more, but Hermano Martinez is a great Mistro (teacher).

Hermana Lao, Hermana Hubbard, and I are sticking together. Hermana Hubbard's companion didn't show, so we are super excited to be a trio and have a room with 3 sets of bunk beds all to ourselves. :) I like it.

I am stressing out about the language of course, but I'm slowly willing myself to study, and I know the lord will do the rest. :) It's harder then it looks. I know it has only been 4 days, so I shouldn't be panicking yet.... I hope. :)

Food is great! Trying super hard not to eat cereal every meal. Or Ice cream. :) We are still trying to get the Elders to sit with us (we jave 8 elders, 4 to Paraguay and 4 to Resistencia). I think they are a little afraid of us - It's kind of amusing. The other Elders in our District who have been her longer are talkative. But it has only been 4 days... so I'm not worried. We have 9 weeks with them.
