Cumple AÑO!

FLIA.

MILAGRO!!! MILAGRO!!!!! Slap him on the back, put him on your shoulders and give that man a high five, Blaine has finally written me. It´s a Miracle!!!

That´s right, if you didn´t know already, as of May 25, 2012 I have one year in the mission! WHAT?! I know, I can hardly believe it myself. It truly is awesomely amazing/nerve wrecking and stressful that it´s going by so fast. I only have 6 1/2 months left... weird.

Hermana Parker and I celebrated our cumple (anniversary?) months by eating Hot dogs. They were probably the worst hot dogs of my entire life. We ate them because we were hungry, but they were terrible. I don´t know how else to say it. Next time, I'm going to buy them from the hot dog vendors, theirs are SO much better. What a waste.

We have been working like jack rabbit missionaries here. Talking to everyone and trying to find some new investigators. I found out real quick that my companion is a lot better and BRAVER at talking to people then I am. For example; This week we were walking on the costanera and we heard drumming. There were about 12 boys (half with shirts and half without) playing these drums practicing for carnival.  My companion decided that she wanted to talk with them. :) We walked up and started talking to a couple of them, and gave about eight of them For the Strength of Youth pamphlets. :) haha. It was pretty awesome. I don´t know if anything will come of it, but we have a good story.

Well, I´ve got to run. I love you all with all of my heart, and I´m so grateful for the support and letters that I receive from you guys every week. I love this Gospel, and I´m grateful to have this chance to share it with Argentina.

Love Love Love,

The Lord truly does work in mysterious ways...

Parientes!
What a week! I can´t even tell you... I would first like to start off by telling you all about transfers... You will be surprised.

First, I was half right about my prediction last week. I´m Senior Companion, but I´m still in Posadas. ;) Hermana López went to my last area in Resistencia. Ready for the surprise?... :) She took the place of my old companion Hermana Parker, and Hermana Parker is... MY COMPANION.... AGAIN!! Haha! :) I know... IT DOESN¨T HAPPEN! I personally thought that it was like some unwritten rule that you can´t be with the same companion more then once... I was wrong. I really goes to show that the Lord works in VERY mysterious ways. I´ve sent you a picture to express our reactions. :)
It´s weird how much a change in companions changes your work ethic. I thought I was doing everything, but now with Hermana Parker, I know I wasn´t doing enough! :) So I´m excited to learn and grown and to see how this transfer will turn out! She´s Awesome, and I´m stoked! Vamos a ver!
We got a new investigator this week. His name is Olsvaldo, and he´s a Mason!  He´s like 27 years old and he knows a ton about the Church, and about Joseph Smith and that he was a Mason. He has a 4 year old who is just as hyper as Marshall. It´s pretty funny. :) We had a good time just watching him run, take a drink of water, run to the other side of the yard, and spit it out. He did that about 5 times. Haha - weird. :)
Wow, other then freakishly weird transfers I can´t tell you much that happened this week. But I will try to make it more interesting next week.
I love you guys so much, and pray for you everyday. I love this Gospel. I know that it´s true, and I´m grateful to be here trying to spread it!
Love you!

Santa Anna

Hey Familia that I just talked to yesterday....

I know that we just caught up yesterday, but a lot can happen in one day... SO.... How goes it!?

For everyone else, we had two Baptisms Saturday - Yani and Noelia. They are super stoked! The only hard part now... Endure.  Sounds simple, but in a world of peer pressure and with no support from their families, it´s going to be hard for them.  But they are great girls, and I have hope that everything will be alright. Plus, the Ward here will watch after them.

It´s almost time for transfers again. We only have 1 1/2 days as companions left (we believe).  We have been together three transfers, almost 4 1/2 months, which is a long time for companions to be together. But you never know... Fact. My predictions: I think Hermana López will train here in Posadas, and I´ll go to another area as Senior Companion. VAMOS A VER!

We were able to go to Santa Anna today for P-day.  Members in our Ward here invited us for lunch (steak, fried eggs, fries, and peaches for desert, Riquísimo!). They have a huge field with about 5 small cottages and a place to eat. It´s gorgeous! Seriously, I want to go back. You can also see the cross of Santa Anna from this place. The Cross of Santa Anna, apparently, is bigger then the Jesus Christ in Rio Brazil... Unfortunately, we didn´t have time to go :(  But it was awesome.  I will return... one day.  Basically, it´s a very quiet, relaxing, vacation spot... if only if only... :)

...Wow, not very exciting.  And  short. :)

But, I´ll let you guys go. I love you all so much, I love this Gospel with all of my heart, and I know it´s true. Keep up the great work.  Be Safe, be Strong, be Smart.
Love you all so much, it was great talking to you yesterday!

I love you!

Wow... a Whole lot of NOTHING

Hola Familia!

Wow... this week has just flown by.... I can´t really believe it myself.  We have two baptisms this Saturday - I'm super stoked.  Yani and Noelia!  I´m hoping all goes well.  You never know until after the confirmation, and even then, we're not sure what will happen. Lots of prayers between now and then.

Wow... seriously, I'm trying to think of what happened last week, and I can´t think of one thing.  A whole lot of lessons with less active members, and not a whole lot of investigators.  But all is well - we only have one week left, and we are hoping to complete all of our goals.... Wish us luck!

Transfers are next Wednesday (16th of May), and now that I have received my letter from President for the week, I REALLY don´t know what is going to happen.  We´ll just have to wait.

Woot! Mothers Day is Sunday! And YES, I will be calling.  I think probably around 8 o'clock here... meaning... 5 o'clock there... I think. They haven´t really given us much information. I asked our Zone Leaders but they said that they didn´t know and would ask President.  All of the Argentineans here don´t get to call home. Their Mother's Day is in October, but Hermana Lopez wants to ask President if she can call home in May since she goes home in October... so ya. We´ll find out.

Well, like I said, a whole lot of nothing happened this past week. Sorry, really short. I love you all so much and pray for you everyday.  Be smart, be safe. Watch and Pray always. I love this gospel with all of my heart, and I´m grateful that even through the trials, the Lord is always here to help us.

LOVE YA!
