Una Semana LARGA! Seriously, It´s been long. But, I'm here to inform you, that you are GRANDPARENTS, UNCLES AND AUNTS! That´s right, I´ve got a daughter here in the mission. Bien, nuevita! She´s from Buenos Aires and is stoked to be starting her mission here in Posadas. Her name is Hermana Rejas (Sister Bars :) ). She´s 22 years old, and her cousin is in our mission also! How weird is that!
We got news Tuesday night about transfers. We were over at a Member´s house for her birthday and at about 8:30 the Elders called us. Now, we aren´t ever supposed to be in the apartment until nine, so we knew that one of us was being transferred, and all that day, everyone thought it would be me, since I´ve been here for about 7 months. So, when we answered the phone, Elder Paz told Hermana Parker that she was heading to Formosa (my old District), and I (he said this in English) was Pregnant! lol :) Meaning.... I´m training. So, we excused ourselves early from the party, and headed back to the apartment to pack. I had to be at the bus station at 2am to get to Resistencia by 8am, so Hermana Parker was rushing to get all of her things packed, and we were out the door at 1:30. I had to drop her off at the other Hermana's apartment, so I almost missed the bus. But all went well. There were only two new missionaries that came in the transfer. There are about 12 others back home waiting for Visas. So, one Elder and I are the only ones training this transfer, and next transfer they are expecting close to 30 missionaries.
Let me tell you, It´s only been about five days, but training is hard. But I'm learning a lot. And Hermana Rejas is una Kapa! She´s great! And, unlike me in my first area, she´ll get a lot of practice knocking on doors. :) We´ve got a lot of work to do, and a lot of people to share the Gospel with. I´m trying to be the best example possible. We´ll see what happens.
Got to run. Love you all so much, keep up the amazing work. Keep trusting in the Lord, and never give up on the Basics.
READ, PRAY, and GO TO CHURCH. It´s what keeps us strong. Be smart, be safe.
Love you!
LOVE AMOR LOVE
