What a Sick week.

¡Hola Familia! ¿Como Están?

What a week, seriously... WHAT WEEK?  To explain, let me use my companion's own words; "Thank goodness for two nostrils!"  Lol!  She´s had a stuffy nose for about 10 days now, so we haven´t left the apartment - but she has been really patient. The area doctor told her it was a seven day flu, and that it would take 7-8 days to clear up, so When we hit day nine (yesterday), she finally called the doctor.  With some new information to the doctor, he determined that it wasn´t a simple seven day flu, it was a EVIL LITTLE Sinus infection.... So we had to get the miracle drugs yesterday to start this week long healing process and she should start being as good as new. We´ll find out soon I guess. She´s starting to feel a lot better. We might even leave the apartment tomorrow... YEAH!

So, what have I been doing this week you ask while my companion has been sleeping (or trying to sleep is the right phrase)? I have attached some photos to show you! I´ve cleaned the house like three times, washed ALL of the clothes, made card board armor (Armor of God) for a Family Home Evening (I was playing with it a little bit also :D ) and braided Hermana Parker´s hair. ( I think I'm getting better with the french braid)  We started a puzzle, but haven´t even gotten close to finishing it. I've organized about half the apartment, and tried writing in my journal.   Then tried to do as much as I could for Hermana Parker. She´s been going a little crazy stuck indoors...

But sick or not, we had the baptism of Maria Rosa (oldest) and Silvana! I´ve sent you a couple of pictures of the baptism. They we so cute!  Poor Maria Rosa, she´s afraid of water (we didn´t find out until after the Baptism) and she had to be baptised 3 times because her foot kept coming out of the water. But she was a trouper and all went well. We had to combine the baptisms this week with the Elders of Taquari because the Aunt is the Relief society president there and wanted to see the baptism of the other girl also, and they were at the same time. So, it actually worked out really well for us, with Hermana Parker being sick and all. So the Elders took care of everything thing. lol  Of course the adversary was working against us again. All of the water in the Church was slightly brown, and the water heater didn't work. So when I say the girls were troupers, it´s a fact.  It was still awesome and you could feel the spirit so strongly.  Sunday they were both confirmed members and received the Holy Ghost (with Victoria). It was awesome.
The day before (the only day that we left the apartment - Friday),  I had to go to Resistencia to finish up my visa stuff, and Hermana Parker was nice enough to suffer a five hour bus ride at 2am, wait all day at the Church while I headed into Corrientes to finish up the papers and then take a five hour bus ride back. She was awesome, and I felt bad that she had to go, with her being sick and all. But to make up for her suffering, I treated her to McDonald's! There is only ONE in our mission, And we enjoyed it. I´ve sent a photo of the epic moment. :)

Well, other then that stuff... HONESTLY, not much more happened this week. lol :) But, It´s been a good slow week, and I was able to catch up on a bunch of stuff.

Thanks for all the prayers and support. Love you guys so much, and I'm so grateful that we are all super strong in the Lord's Church. I'm so grateful to be here, and to help bring people unto Christ. Be smart, Be Safe, trust in the lord, and all will be well.

I love you!
