Lady Loca

FAM!

Happy Fathers Day! (Already sent Dad a letter)

OK, real quick... WHAT!? How is Brett doing now? I feel like we should all learn from this and say, ALWAYS WEAR A HELMET! Fact - I hope everything is good now, and he´s doing well. I´ll be praying on this side.

Second, this week was weirdly awesome, mainly for the awesome crazy lady we met in the street.

We were sitting down for a moment, looking through our members list, and this lady (smoking a cigarette) came up to us and asked if we were Mormons. We said "yes", and then she asked us if we had a moment to talk with her. Naturally, like all missionaries, this doesn´t happen often. So we said, "SÍ"! So we started walking to her house, and she was telling us about how our church was originally called 'The Mormon Church' and then years later they changed it to 'The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.' We told her that that was incorrect and it´s always been called 'The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.' We then asked how old she was and she told us that she was really old, older than we could understand. We were a little confused, but when we got to her house (small and humble) she proceeded to tell us that she was originally born in Arabia and has been resurrected four or five times. She also told us that she was the owner of Coca Cola, Pepsi and Disney. ;) Ha ha. She told us that people were trying to find her for her money, and how this lady had stolen her Identity. At one point she was talking about the Twin Towers - the conversation went something like this.

Loco Lady:  "You two are North American right?"
Us:  "yeah"
Loco Lady:  "You know the Twin Towers?"
Us:  "yeah"
Loco Lady:  "Ah, yeah. Those are mine."

Lol.  So apparently she isn´t just the owner of Pepsi, Coca Cola and Disney, but also the Twin Towers. It was a pretty funny experience. She told us that she wanted us to get the phone number of the Police of North America. We were thinking it would be a little hard. :) Looks like she´s a little... crazy. So, After that, We excused ourselves and left.  And we have been quoting her for a couple of days now.

Kyle, I can´t believe you are in Chile now! (by the time you read this you will be in Chile) Whose your companion? Where is he from? I want pictures.  Enserio. :) How do you like it? What is the weather like? Cold, Hot?

Familia Vergara is teaching Hermana Parker and I how to Crochet. It´s been fun learning - we are SLOWLY (we work on it in our spare time, if we have spare time) working on a scarf, I´ll send you photos when it´s complete.

Nothing much too exciting happened this week. Sorry. I hope everything is going well. Sounds like everything is going well in Washington, and back at home. I love you all so much, and I´m grateful for all the support I receive while I´m here serving the Lord.

Be SMART, Be SAFE, and Trust in the Lord with all your heart, might, mind and strength.

Love, Love, Love,
