Sup mi Peeps!
First and foremost, FELIZ CUMPLEAÑOS BLAINE!! Woot woot, No puedo creerlo! I can´t believe it. So what are you planning to do for your birthday, what did you ask for, what did you get? (I won´t actually hear from you until after the party with the Family.)
Guess what I just found out?! I live above a morgue.... A MORGUE! I know right, SERIOUSLY! What are the odds? That might be why our apartment is so cheap each month :) But, what can you do? That´s OK - It doesn´t look like one.
This week we have been working with our inactive members. We have a members list of 24 PAGES, and only about 60 - 80 of them are active members. So we have been going around to visit. The problem is, since we live so close to the Rio Parana, this is a vacation spot. When people go on vacation here, they go for months. So a lot of people come, get baptised, and go back to their houses without telling us. I don´t know why it has taken them so long to update the list, but we have people on the list that moved like 15 - 20 years ago. Its kind of ridiculous. But we are still working on it. Hoping to find investigators, and reactivate the families. Vamos a ver.
Little quirk about Argentina... They love LOVE Mickey Mouse. Love him. They sell T-shirts in almost every store. I see everybody, every age, wearing mickey belly shirts, t-shirts, purses, Everything. I personally think it´s funny, and secretly wish I could wear a mickey shirt around... only in my dreams I guess. :D
Well, not much more happened this week. We are still trying to find more people that are looking for the
Gospel of Jesus Christ. I love this Gospel so much. And I'm trying to share it with everyone. We´ll see how that goes. ;)
